Finding financial aid for college may become easier because of new proposals from the Obama administration.
Here are a few of the administration’s proposals:
- Perkins Loan monies should be increased from 1 billion to 8 billion dollars annually.
- All colleges/universities would be required to use a standard financial aid “shopping sheet” to make financial aid package offers easier to compare.
- The government would shift federal dollars away from colleges and universities that fail to keep their net tuition fees down.
