Eligibility:

1. Must be a high school senior interested in a career in accounting
2. Must be a Missouri resident and enroll in enroll in at least 12 college course hours at a Missouri college or university.
3. Must write an essay of no more than 500 words addressing the "Viewpoint" prompt given in the application

Criteria for Selection:  Based on academic achievement, test scores, demonstrated leadership potential, and clarity of a stated "Viewpoint." Viewpoint essay will be judged on evaluate the text for content, creativity, clarity, mechanics, and the ability to effectively communicate the relevancy of accountancy to the topic.

Amount of Award:  $500
