Eligibility:

   1.)   Available to high school seniors entering college and returning college
           students attending accredited U.S. colleges or universities

    2.)   Must be a U.S. citizen or Resident Alien

    3.)   Must be  Permanent Residents of New England or Mid-Atlantic States: CT,
            DC, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA, VT, WV

    4.)   Must have a GPA 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) and be enrolled in a
            demanding course of study

     5.)  Must demonstrate excellent writing skills

     6.)  Must demonstrate substantial financial need through documentation of high
            unmet need

Criteria for Selection:  Must meet eligibility standards; best judged application

Amount of Award:  $3000 - $10,000 (renewable yearly)
