College Debt Passes $1 trillion

Written by CB Experts

The Week has reported outstanding college debt has gone over the trillion dollar mark and that one of four students repaying is already behind on those payments.

At least some colleges are responding to this burden by either lowering or freezing their tuition. This year 16 schools are freezing their tuition costs, the highest number on record yet. At least three other schools are cutting tuition rates by 10% or more:
• Seton Hall University
• Lincoln College
• Cabrini College.
