Ivy Application Numbers are Down

The Ivies will always be selective, but finally the number of applicants to the Ivies is beginning to level off.  This is good news for this year’s class, the Class of 2016.

Looking at some of the top colleges, three schools’ numbers are still increasing: Cornell, Yale, and Dartmouth.  But, Brown, Columbia, Harvard, Princeton, and Penn all have decreases in their numbers of applicants.

For those applying to the schools with fewer applicants, there is a reason to hope.
